Notice:

An important reminder:

Sweaters or other articles of clothing (excluding festive socks worn under slacks or while in the privacy of your own home) that celebrate the seasons with their gaudy glitter, embroidery, puff paint or aplique' are NOT TO BE WORN under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. This rule applies especially to YOU, Miss Coworker, who has for two straight days worn a holiday sweater with a white turtleneck underneath.

Thank you for heading this public service announcement.

Oh holy christ.
Does she at least have the excuse of being 80?
Or blind and dressed by friends who hate her?

NOPE.
she's early 30's, young daughter, reasonably attractive AND SPORTING HOLIDAY SWEATERS.
GAG ME.

She must not be allowed to live.
Send your cats to her house.
That'll teach her.

sending your cats doesn't sound as good as
"Release the Hounds!"
That'll learn her to be festive!

Yes, release the hounds, Birdie is looking good this holiday season!

You guys haven't met her demon cats. TRUST ME . . . they are heinous.

The big one LOVES to wait until people who are allergic to him (ME ME ME) fall asleep . . then he pounces directly upon their face.

The little one doesn't bother to be surruptitious about it. Just jumps at your face at will.

Ask Birdie - ask her. The cats are possessed. Don't make me forward emails between us . . even she admits they're the spawn of satan.

ok, i admit they are a might crazy. but they really are cute! i swear! they sleep on my feet so i don't get cold and they never jump on MY face :) though this one time Llama jumped on my bed and had a dingleberry hanging from his butt-fur.
it was nasty.
but they love me unconditionally (because i dole out food) and i DO love things that love me :)it proves i'm not weird enough to scare off ALL creatures.

In the cats defense, Birdie makes them crazy.

She really does.
She loves them and feeds them and plays with them.
But she also makes them dance for company.
And she bought dog harnesses for them and put them on leashes and makes them take walks.
I'm surprised she doesn't dress them.

DONT dress them! "Ruby" and I will kill you if they appear at either of our domiciles, or in public, or in your domicile dressed in anything but fur!

Caveat to Rule - If you work with children all day, then it is allowable, but ONLY in that circumstance.

Anyway, "festive" running socks are THE BOMB...you know how many marathon runners and triathlets wear them? ;-)

Umm so NO.
NO.
NO.

I work with kids all day and would NEVER EVER wear anything glittered, embroidered, puff painted or appliqued.

Just something simple.
ONE of my scrub JACKETS - not even a top - the jacket, is Peanuts having Christmas festivities. You know, Woodstock in a Santa hat, etc. The kids love it . . but it has NOTHING glittered, embroidered, puff painted or apliqued.
