I take it you have friends serving in Iraq. Hopefully he will now have the sense to get out of the services.
I'm afraid he does not actually have a choice. He still has several years to go and will likely be sent back within the next 18 months. But it is 18 months not in a a scary scary volatile land. So I'm grateful.
Feeling sappy and whatnot. Excuse total lack of humor. Can only conjur up ordinary, run-of-the-mill humor involving sheep and goats. Which is completely inappropriate.
How long has he been in? Since Afghanistan?
Anyway, hes safe for the moment, and im sure hell be keeping his head down.
